This was recommended to me on my first NLP training.  All the points are covered and you will not be overwhelmed by jargon.  As with all books on NLP remember it is something you experience so when the author says "imagine a cloud" it works best if you actually, really imagine.  Working through this guide would be good first steps in discovering NLP

I bought this book before I discovered NLP and it was among the first to open my eyes to great possibilities. It is still in my library. What can we say – a brilliant book – well worth reading. Seriously, we have put together a number of tools from NLP and Coach-U and applied them to the healthcare context. The book uses case studies throughout to show how this is already being used effectively to transform practice and patient care.
